A terraced mountain oasis village built into the cliffside above Al Hamra, watered by a falaj irrigation system that is said to be more than two thousand years old. Stone and mud brick houses line a maze of shaded footpaths among fruit orchards, and the whole village is explored on foot only. Recognized as one of the UNWTO Best Tourism Villages.
