An ancient port city in Dhofar and part of the UNESCO Land of Frankincense World Heritage site, once a hub on the frankincense trade route linking Arabia to the wider ancient world. The remains, known locally as Khor Rori, are spread over a wide area on a lagoon overlooking the sea.
