Privacy Policy

Account details: your email address and display name, and your phone number if you choose to provide one.

Membership records: your Pass status, founding member number, and a log of the perks you redeem at partner venues.

Anonymous usage analytics: aggregated figures on which pages and listings are viewed, not linked to your identity.

Intent clicks: when you follow a link from Wajd to WhatsApp, Maps, or a similar external destination, we record that the click occurred, to measure how useful a listing is. We do not see the content of the conversation that follows.

To run your account and Pass membership, confirm perk redemptions with partner venues, keep the platform secure, and understand which places and features are worth building further.

Your data is stored with Supabase, hosted on Amazon Web Services in the ap-south-1 region, and is not transferred elsewhere in the ordinary course of operation.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party.

We do not publish a trail of your activity. The places you save, the perks you redeem, and your browsing are not shown to other members or made public.

We use two kinds of cookies only: one to keep you signed in, and one to remember your language and display preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Under the Sultanate of Oman's Personal Data Protection Law, you may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it. Email support@wajd.om and we will respond within a reasonable time.
