Wajd Digital Services ("Wajd," "we," "us") operates the discovery platform and Pass membership described at wajd.om. This policy sets out what information we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you hold over it.
What we collect
Account details: your email address and display name, and your phone number if you choose to provide one.
Membership records: your Pass status, founding member number, and a log of the perks you redeem at partner venues.
Site statistics: we estimate daily visitors and count views of public sections without analytics cookies or persistent browser identifiers. A daily changing keyed hash is derived from network and browser information; raw IP addresses and browser details are not stored in these statistics. Private pages, search terms and full referring URLs are excluded. This measurement respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
Intent clicks: when you follow a link from Wajd to WhatsApp, Maps, or a similar external destination, we record that the click occurred, to measure how useful a listing is. We do not see the content of the conversation that follows.
Why we collect it
To run your account and Pass membership, confirm perk redemptions with partner venues, keep the platform secure, and understand which places and features are worth building further.
Where your data lives
Account and service records are stored with Supabase. Hosting, email delivery and error monitoring also process the information needed to provide those services. Site-visitor statistics use a 90-day reporting window. Older visitor records are removed in scheduled batches and during subsequent visits.
What we never do
We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party.
We do not publish a trail of your activity. The places you save, the perks you redeem, and your browsing are not shown to other members or made public.
Cookies
We use cookies for sign-in and language preferences, and local storage for display preferences. A first-party cookie can remember a campaign visit for up to 30 days to help attribute registrations and partner activity. Daily site-visitor measurement does not set cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Your rights
Under the Sultanate of Oman's Personal Data Protection Law, you may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it. Email hello@wajd.om and we will respond within a reasonable time.
