A small fishing village on a remote stretch of Oman's southern coast. Its shoreline has drawn archaeologists since a Neolithic-era dig began here in 2017, and in 2020 a fossilized shark tooth around five thousand five hundred years old, the first of its kind recorded in Arabia, was found along the beach.
